Phil am dried cassava balls (sago) 454g
In the Philippines, dried cassava balls are called sago, in India it is called tapioca to represent the root of the plant (cassava) rather than the starch from which the cassava balls are extracted. It is gluten-free, and almost completely protein-free. It's often used to thicken soups and sweeten the flavor of baked goods, and it makes a dandy pudding.
